It has been an honour to serve as a School Trustee with the North Vancouver Board of Education since 2018, including as Vice-Chair and Board Chair. Over the past eight years, I have worked alongside students, families, educators, staff, and community partners to support student success, strengthen public education, and advance equitable opportunities for all learners.
I am seeking re-election because I believe deeply in the value of public education and the opportunities it creates for children, families, and our community. A strong public education system helps every student develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to reach their full potential and succeed in life. While we have made meaningful progress, important work remains.
As a parent, educator, and School Trustee, I am committed to supporting student and staff well-being, inclusive learning environments, diverse learners, Truth and Reconciliation, responsible innovation, fiscal responsibility, sustainability, and effective governance. These priorities are guided by a simple principle: every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
North Vancouver has much to be proud of in its public education system. I remain committed to listening to diverse perspectives, bringing people together, and building strong partnerships in support of student success and well-being.
