North Vancouver has an outstanding public education system, dedicated educators and staff, engaged families, and students with tremendous potential. As a School Trustee, I am committed to supporting student success and helping ensure every learner has the opportunity to thrive.

The following priorities will guide my work if re-elected.

  • Student & Staff Well-Being: Student learning and success depend on safe, healthy, and supportive school environments. I will continue to support initiatives that promote mental health, well-being, belonging, and positive school cultures for both students and staff.

  • Inclusive Learning: Every student deserves to feel welcomed, valued, and supported. I am committed to advancing accessible and inclusive learning environments and strengthening supports that help diverse learners succeed.

  • Truth & Reconciliation: Meaningful reconciliation requires ongoing action. I support advancing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action on education, enhancing opportunities for Indigenous students to succeed, and learning about Indigenous histories, cultures, and perspectives.

  • Innovation & Technology: Technology and innovation can enhance teaching and learning when used thoughtfully and responsibly. I support approaches that help students develop the skills, knowledge, and digital competencies needed for success in a changing world.

  • Fiscal Responsibility: Public education depends on responsible stewardship of public resources. I am committed to transparent decision-making, sound financial management, and ensuring resources are directed toward supporting student learning and success.

  • SustainabilitySchools have an important role to play in building a more sustainable future. I support environmentally responsible practices that reduce our environmental footprint and help students become informed and engaged global citizens.

  • Good Governance: Strong governance helps build trust and supports effective decision-making. I am committed to collaboration, accountability, transparency, and respectful engagement with students, families, staff, and the broader community.

Working Together for Student Success

Strong public education is built on partnerships. I will continue to listen to diverse perspectives, bring people together, and work collaboratively with students, families, educators, staff, and community partners to ensure North Vancouver remains a place where every student can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
